Why ZipRescue?

Adjustable Braking:  The major advantage of the ZipRescue device is its adjustable braking system.  As the rescuer mounts the device on the haul rope the ZipRescue automatically moves to a “MAX” braking position: no more chance of a runaway rescuer. The rescuer can then adjust the amount of braking with a simple foot loop or Etrier.

ZipRescue

Lower Manpower:  The ZipRescue system requires only one trained rescuer per span which automatically increases the number of rescuers you will be able to utilize during an actual evacuation.  The trained ZipRescue rider/rescuer can lower customers down to a ski instructor, host, or previously evacuated customer to assist the evacuees as they come in contact with the ground or ski slope.  This frees up rescuers to continue with the evacuation, which can also decrease the areas you may need to shut down in order to accumulate additional evacuation manpower.

Time Savings:  The ZipRescue device is designed for haul rope transportation but it also includes a lowering system designed to speed up the process of getting the rescuer into the chair, gondola cabin or tram.  This system doesn’t require the rescuer to detach or unclip from the ZipRescue device/ haul rope thus allowing him/her to remain “tied in” at all times during the rescue.  Remember, in a rescue “seconds turn into minutes, and minutes turn into hours.”  The less fatigued your rescuer is the safer and quicker your rescue.

User Friendly:  The ZipRescue device is the most user friendly rescue product on the market.  At 9.9 pounds and 20 inches long the ZipRescue is easy to handle and utilize.  The device can be slung over a rescuer’s shoulder making it easy to ski down to the lift and ascend the lift towers without wrestling with their rescue equipment at the same time.  Women rescuers love the ZipRescue for its small size and light weight.

Support:  Included with every ZipRescue purchase or lease is a step by step Power Point Operational Manual that can serve to refresh your rescuers on riding techniques when there has been a lapse of time between evacuation training.  For an additional fee, ZipRescue representatives can come to your resort to provide a user demonstration and training session for the heads of your ski patrol or rescue division.

Product Liability Insurance:  Every ZipRescue unit is covered under our product liability insurance policy.
